CECILIA FARMER
ROFF-Services for Cecilia Florence Farmer, 73, of Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sulphur, Revs. Martin Gustin and Dewain Duck will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Cemetery near Roff.
Mrs. Farmer died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at a Sulphur hospital. She was born December 23, 1939 in Byars, Oklahoma to Jarrett and Elsie Medford Gentry. She attended Stratford schools.
She married LaVern Farmer on May 26, 1956. Mrs. Farmer was a homemaker and a member of the Sulphur Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, LaVern Farmer, of the home; one son, Randy Farmer of Sulphur; two grandsons, Aaron Farmer and wife Tiffany of Davis, and Josh Farmer, of the home; three great granddaughters, Alexis, Aliyah and Aizyah Farmer; a special granddaughter, Tera Otis and her children, Kynlie and Dyrk; a brother, Berthal Gentry and his wife Anna of Byars; two sisters, Evanell McGee and her husband Delbert of Noble, and Annie Winters of Davis; 8 nephews; 3 nieces; and several foster children she reared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Dillard Gentry, D. L. Gentry and Vernon Gentry; a sister, Ivah Shadwick; and a daughter-in-law, Becky Farmer.
Bearers will be David Woods, Jeff Meeks, Jerry Lancaster, Jr., Joe Sledd, Logan Lomas and Emelio Lomas.
