ADA-Graveside services Cecil Jerry Howard, 75, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery. Jim Smith and Ben Condon will officiate.
Mr. Howard died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born November 21, 1936 in Millcreek, Oklahoma to Cecil Franklin and Geneva May Burk Howard. He came with his family to this area as a young child. He graduated from Ada High School.
He married Jackie McCurdy on December 23, 1987. Mr. Howard was a comptroller for Brockway Glass Company for 32 years. He attended Cornerstone Christian Church and had served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Howard, of the home; two sons, Tommy Roberts of Ada and Bill McCurdy and his wife Char of Terrell, TX; a sister, Shirley Bradam of Ada; one brother, Ben Howard of Rockport, TX; and two granddaughters, Jessica Roberts of Ada, and Georgie McCurdy of Ada.
Bearers will be Carl Low, Jim Landry, Layle Price, John Hughes, Gene Thomas, Tom Landrith and Dan Zimmerman.
