FRANCIS-Services for Catherine "Cathy" Smith, 68, Francis are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Joe Howry will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Ms. Smith died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born May 26, 1940 near Roff, Oklahoma to Elva Lee and Vivian Phillips Smith. She graduated from Byng High School in 1958 and joined the U. S. Air Force, serving for eight years. Ms. Smith was employed with Kennedy and Coe in Salina, Kansas as a data entry operator, and currently she was employed by the Ada Regional United Way. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sisters, Binnie Wilson and husband Phillip, Ada, and Demoine Anderson and husband James, Francis; four nieces, Margie Shaw and husband Ronnie, Francis, Jennifer Jussely and husband Martin, Stratford, Melissa Rice and husband Robbie, Francis, and Michelle Wilson and husband Keith, Ventura, California; two nephews, Jeffery Wilson, Ada, and Daryl Wilson, Fort Myers, Florida; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bearers will be Margie Shaw, Jennifer Jussely, Melissa Rice, James Jussely, Michael Wilson, Kristina Belcher, and Bridgette Adams. Honorary Bearers will be Shanna Shaw McNutt, Cody Dildine and Jeffery Wilson.
