LAVERDA BALTHROP
ADA-Graveside services for Catherine LaVerda Balthrop, 80, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Jim Knight will officiate.
Mrs. Balthrop died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her home. She was born March 13, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma to Dallas Raymond and Dovie M. Johnson Lamb. She graduated from Ada High School.
She married James W. Balthrop on August 12, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1979. Mrs. Balthrop was an aide at Ballard Nursing Home for several years and a homemaker. She was a member of the Ada Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Jackie West and her husband R. L. of Ada; and several cousins
