CAROLYN THOMPSON
OKLAHOMA CITY-Memorial services for Carolyn V. Davies Thompson, 64, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ray Talbott will officiate.
Ms. Thompson died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born March 6, 1946 at Wilmington, Delaware to Herbert John and Geneva Braly Davies. She attended Ada elementary schools and graduated from Ada High School in 1964. She also attended East Central University.
Ms. Thompson was a teller and customer service representative for various banks and also was a pawn shop proprietor. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Guderian and wife Shonda, Oklahoma City; her mother, Geneva Davies, Ardmore; her sister, Janet Rider, Ardmore; one granddaughter, Hope Guderian, Oklahoma City; a niece, Kristin Rider, Oklahoma City; and nephew, John Rider and wife Courtney, Austin, TX and their children, Brecken, Taplin and Declan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" Attn: Donor Services, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
