Carolyn Boykin

Services for Carolyn Sue Boykin, 69, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Rick Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Mrs. Boykin passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at her home. She was born August 20, 1956, in Seminole, to Ballard and Vinita Dinwiddie Weston.

Mrs. Boykin graduated from Seminole High School and went on to work as an LPN for over 40 years and was of the Baptist faith.

On July 21, 1989, she married Chet Boykin in Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Chet, of the home; four sons, Christopher Cheek, Graig Cheek, Robert Boykin, and Brian Boykin; two daughters, Misty Hatton and Ashlan Boykin; one step-son, Chet Boykin, Jr.; step-daughter, Janifer Boykin; two brothers, Kenny Weston and Nolan Cellars; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vinita Rutledge; daughter, Paige Taylor Boykin; and sister, Wanda Redding.

Bearers are Christopher Cheek, Graig Cheek, Brian Boykin, Robert Boykin, Danny Hassen, and Tracy Brooks.
