Carol Williams

Services for Carol Williams, 66, of Norman, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada.

Ms. Williams passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 after a long illness. She was born November 23, 1951 in Beatrice, NE to Joe Kenneth and Lucille L. Young Perkins. She and her family moved to Haileyville, OK and later to Ada. She attended Irving Grade School, Ada Junior High and graduated from Ada High School in 1969. She later attended East Central University.

She married Don Williams in 1973 and divorced in 1983. Carol began work at Arkla Gas Co. in 1973 and though the company name changed several times, she remained an employee until 2017. She held several positions over her 44 years with the company including clerk, Office Manager, Operations Manager, and Billing Analyst.

Survivors include a son, Derrick Williams of Ada; a granddaughter, Piper Adams; and two nieces, Kim Coley, Ardmore and Nova Harp, Sallisaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Marilyn Young.
