GENE ANGLIN
ADA-Memorial services for Carney Gene Anglin, 62, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Anglin died July 12, 2012, at his home. He was born Aug. 2, 1949, to Floyd and Ima Jane Walton Anglin at Ada. He attended Stonewall Schools and received his degree from OSU Institute of Technology at Okmulgee. He was an artist and leather craftsman and was affiliated with the Blue Indian Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Travis Shane Anglin, Oklahoma City; a sister, Tawana Anglin Magee, Plano, Texas; a brother, Larson Dean Walton, Ada; a granddaughter, Kristy Anglin; one grandson, Nicholas Coppola; and numerous cousins.
Mr. Anglin was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, who raised him, Carney and Bessie Walton and a son, Justin Shawn Anglin.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society, 1200 Sandy Creek Drive, Ada, OK, 74820.
