ALLEN-Graveside Memorial Services for Carmen Davis, 80, of Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Allen Cemetery, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate.
Mrs. Davis passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home in Allen. She was born March 20, 1932 in Big Pine, California to Sabino and Isabella Valencia Munis.
She married Clifford Virgil Davis on October 23, 1949 in Hawthorne, Nevada. Mrs. Davis was a partner in Davis Sales and Appraisals. She also worked as a personal assistant/house manager. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her "poopies" (great grandchildren).
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Davis, of the home; a daughter, Lynda Mayo and her husband Danny of Lodi, California; three grandsons, Frankie Bell and his wife Mindy and Shannon Bell and Angel Scott, all of Allen, and Earl Mayo of Lodi, California; her great grandchildren, Jassmine Mayo, Coyt Bell, Gena Mayo, Kayd Bell, and Ford Bell; four sisters, Margaret Nogales, Lone Pine, CA, Mary Cherubine, Washoe, NV, Mary Ellen Croun, Visalia, CA, and Amelia Robinson, White City, OR; and four brothers, Enos Muniz, Brookings, OR, Louie Muniz, Freeland, WA, Pete Muniz, Susanville, CA, and Sal Muniz, Big Fork, MT.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cyndee Akins; a brother, Anthony Muniz; and a sister, Alvada Romero.
