CARL WILSON
FRANCIS-Graveside services for Carl Lee Wilson, 74, of Francis are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis, Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate.
Mr. Wilson died Monday, January 20, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born September 29, 1939 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Roy C. and Jewell M. West Wilson. He attended school in Oklahoma City.
He married Judy E. Wells on June 22, 1957. He and his family moved to Ada in 1962 where he went into business with his brother, Carol R. Wilson. In 1978, Carl went to work for Pontotoc County, District #1 and worked there until his retirement in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; two daughters, Carlene Carter and husband Quinton of Francis and Pamela Pack and husband Jerry of Konawa; two sons, Glenn R. Wilson of Francis and Curtis L. Wilson and wife Janet of Mansfield, Texas; two sisters, Pat Hestand and husband Joe of Lago Vista, TX, and Patricia Brumley and husband Hal of Newalla, OK; his ten grandchildren, Anna Knutson, Heather Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Ryan L. Wilson, Terry Pack, Bryce Wilson, Shelby Wilson, Morgan Kirkwood and husband James, and Amanda Warren.
Bearers will be his sons, Glenn Wilson and Curtis Wilson; and sons-in-law, Jerry Pack and Quinton Carter. Honorary bearers will be his grandsons, Terry Pack, James Kirkwood, Bryce Wilson, Ryan Wilson; and nephews, Donnie Wilson, Tim Wilson, John Wilson, and Mike Wilson.
