Carl Taylor
KONAWA-Services for Carl Ralph "Papa" Taylor, 72, of Konawa are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Dora Cemetery in Seminole County.
Mr. Taylor passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at a Seminole hospital. He was born November 26, 1942 in Jesse to Charlie and Mary Tressie Hodges Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a truck driver until his retirement. Later, he spent the rest of his life as a loving, caring granddad.
Survivors include a daughter, Carla Taylor, Konawa; a son, Carl Taylor, Jr., Konawa; five grandchildren, Tracie Stafford and husband Jarod, Rob Taylor and wife Felicia, David Sean Young and wife Jessica, Lindsey Griffin and husband David and Shana Taylor; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Taylor and Sammy Taylor; and three sisters, Vonda Trivitt, Dene Henderson and Teresa Bonner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Bearers will be his daughter and son and grandchildren. Honorary bearers will be David Griffin, Matt Yerby, Jarod Stafford and Steve Young.
