Carl Odom

Services for Carl McCannon Odom, 70, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Vicky Pettigrew will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Odom passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026. He was born June 7, 1956 at Ardmore, OK to Carl Vallis and Vera Mae Pettigrew Odom.

Mr. Odom was a horse trainer and jockey.

Survivors include a son, Michael Rice of Arkansas; and two sisters, Linda Bryant and husband Carl of Roff and Karen Odom of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Beverly Odom, Debra McNiell and Teresa McCullar.

Bearers will be Shane Tatum, Michael Tatum, Vallis McCullar, Todd Young, Steven Davis and Jake Laughlin.
