Camille Phillips
A private service will be held for Camille Phillips, 85, of Ada.
Born on January 28, 1932, to Wirtie Clyde Blevins and Elsie Mae Tripp Blevins, Camille grew up in Allen and moved to Ada after graduating from high school. She married Foy Phillips on October 9, 1952 and he predeceased her April, 2005.
She was a telephone operator for the phone company in Ada for several years and worked for Johnson's Draperies in Ada. After moving to Harrah, she was a teacher's aide in the handicapped class, working at Crooked Oak School in Midwest City for a few years and later at Harrah School, retiring after many years of service.
She was a member of the Red Rose Garden Club in Harrah for 6 years, serving as President 1 year. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Clyde Blevins and her sisters, Frances Ringer, Mary Nell Woolley and Nora Tullous.
She is survived by her son, Dale Phillips, McLoud; daughter, Vicki Kelley and husband Gary, Ada; grandchildren, Lacy Baker, Ada, Casey Kelley and wife Renee, Ada, Wade Phillips and Reed Phillips, McLoud; great-grandchildren, Shannon Schumacher and husband Sheridan, Ada and Jacob Baker, Ada; and great-great-grandchild, Sora Schumacher, Ada; sisters, Josephine Merriman, Margaret McKinzie, Myrtle Brunt and Betty Pfaff; and her brother, Kenneth Blevins; as well as many nieces and nephews.
