CALVIN PARNACHER

ADA-Services for Calvin Edward Parnacher, 72, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Hill Cemetery. A Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the home of Durenda Parnacher, 15847 CR 1562, Ada.

Mr. Parnacher died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born April 15, 1937 at Ada, Oklahoma to Noles and Rena McGee Parnacher. He attended Homer elementary and graduated from Byng High School.

He married Joyce Hall. She preceded him in death. Mr. Parnacher was a baker for Rainbow Bread in Oklahoma City and later retired as a baker for Wonder Bread Bakery in Dallas. He was a member of the Ada First Indian Baptist Church and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors include two daughters, Durenda Parnacher, Ada, and Nerissa Lynn Parnacher, Baton Rouge, LA; a son, Maurice Stacy Parnacher, South Carolina; step children, Shelly Baker, Idaho, Sherri Baker, Oklahoma City and Steve Baker, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Kevin Raymond Parnacherand wife Rachel, Latisha Lynn Parnacher, Jaime Sanchez Martinez, Emilio Sanchez Martinez, Courtney Meikle, Savanah Meikle and Jessica Meikle; two great grandchildren, Jayden Sanchez Martinez and Kambrey Martinez; two brothers, Lloyd Parnacher, Ada and Floyd Parnacher, Newcastle; one sister, Frances Brokeshoulder, McAlester; numerous nieces and nephews including, Randy Parnacher, Craig Parnacher, Jerry Parnacher, Marcy Parnacher, Karen Turtle, Gayle Parnacher, Vickie Parnacher and Steven Parnacher; and other family members and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Calvin Parnacher Jr.

Bearers will be Kevin Parnacher, Emilio Sanchez Martinez, Marvin Others, Craig Parnacher, Weldon Fulsom, Randy Parnacher, and Jaime Sanchez Martinez.
