CALVIN BICKHAM
ADA-Services for Gordon Calvin Bickham, 81, Ada, are 1 p.m Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bickham died Friday, July 18, 2014, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1932, to William Jack and Delia Gardner Bickham at Bastrop, Texas. He attended Willard Elementary, Ponca City Military Academy, East Central University, the Business School of Houston and the Milwhite Mud Engineering School. He was vice president of operations of Smedvig Drilling Company. Mr. Bickham was a member of the Ada Elks and was a Baptist.
Mr. Bickham and Doris June Miller were married in Fort Collins, Co.
He is survived by his wife, Doris June, of the home; three daughters, Ava Lee Bickham, Gaye Lynn Markowitz and her husband Paul and Robyn Stover and her husband Robert; grandchildren, Cally Lehman and Gregg Harrow, Nina and Seth Martindale, Natalee and Dustin Ripley, Melodie and Tildon Gillum, John Calvin and Kristi West, Rob and Cait Stover and Keeslar Stover; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter LeAmber Harwell; and a sister, Jacqueline Sue Bickham.

Bearers are John Calvin West, Rob Stover, Keeslar Stover, Tildon Gillum, Dustin Ripley, Gregg Harrow, Preston Harwell and Brandon Homan. Honorary bearers are Henry Katz, Mike Gray, Jack McMahon, Robert Stover, Melvin Lehman, Seth Martindale, Tracy West and Paul Markowitz.
