Graveside services for Elbert Eugene "Bud" Morgan, 98, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Rosedale Cemetery, Adam Hampton will officiate.

Mr. Morgan passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Harbor Chase Assisted Living Center in Oklahoma City. He was born September 19, 1924 in Cairo, Illinois. He had served on the USS Bunker Hill Aircraft Carrier in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

He married Mary Ruth Hanor January 25, 1947 in De Soto, MO. She preceded him in death October 14, 2020. Mr. Morgan opened the first Edward Jones Financial Office in Ada in 1967. He retired in 1986.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Haney and husband Doug of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Monica Maley and husband Zachary of Norman, Jeremy Haney and wife Amy of Oklahoma City, Tim Murphy of Bernie, MO and Melissa Murphy Burge of St. Louis, MO; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Morgan; a brother, Lawrence Edward Morgan; a sister, Dorothy Morgan Estes; and  half- brother, Jewel Edward Morgan.
