BRYAN ROARK

ADA – Services for Bryan D. Roark, 46, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Crosspointe Church, Rev. Jimmy Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Roark died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at his home. He was born Dec. 21, 1962, in Wetumka, Oklahoma to David and Mickie Marler Roark. The family moved to Ada in 1972 from Hugo. He graduated from Ada High School in 1981 and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University in 1991. He earned his Master of Business Administration in finance and economics at Southern Methodist University in May 2009. He was vice president and a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Ada. He and Christiana "Christy" Hinesley were married Dec. 18, 1982. He was affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife, Christy, of the home; two sons, Craig Roark and Chad Roark, both of Ada; his parents, David and Mickie Roark, Fitzhugh, OK; one sister, Tammy Branscum and husband Jerry, Fitzhugh, OK; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hubert and Laura Sales, Ada.

He was preceded in death by a son, Colton Roark.

Bearers will be Mike Mapp, Robert Mapp, Drew Dibler, Tim McCarty, Darnell Barnes, Ryan Madison, Justin Nail, and Montana Lancaster. Honorary bearers will be Alfred Murr, Carroll Shahan, Randy Davidson and Hal Sliger.
