Brent Felkins

Memorial services for Brent Dewayne Felkins, 73, of Fitzhugh are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.

Mr. Felkins passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born March 23, 1947 in Ada, OK to Kerb Jesse and Opal Gorham Miers Felkins. He attended Fitzhugh grade school and graduated from Roff High School in 1964.

He married Diana Linn Sawler June 10, 1982. Mr. Felkins worked for K.A.T.Y. Railroad and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was a partner with Wiley Webb and owned Wiley's Bar-B-Que and later owned a liquor store in Ada for several years. Mr. Felkins served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Diana, of the home; son, Justin Brent Felkins and wife Revelle, Fitzhugh; sister, Chloe Ann Elliott, Sulphur; and two nephews, John Elliott and Jim Elliott.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, John Elliott.

Honorary bearers will be George Patterson, Richard Webb, Tommy Redman, Russell Mize, Tommy Graham, Bradley Nobles, and J. J. Boyd.
