Brady Ray Durham aka Mr. Dr. Durham (to those in the know) passed away quietly (who knew he could be silent) in his sleep on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the age of 42 with his wife by his side.  His departure was just in time for him to miss the ending of the 2024 Auburn Football season.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Durham, and his four dogs, Maddie, Motley, Lemon, and Ella, and 1 cat, Misery (aka Fluffy Butt).  He and his wife met in typing class in high school. It was love at first sight across the keyboards (for Brady anyway).  In true Brady fashion, and much to her annoyance, he persisted until he wore her down and joked his way into her heart and out her bedroom window (Sorry Mom :). Brady and Ashley were total opposites, but they balanced each other out well for 15 years of marriage.

Brady loved his wife, his pets (yes even Motley), traveling, cars, Auburn football, Kentucky Basketball, watches, music, playing guitar, and any one of the numerous hobbies he would pick up from time to time.  Most importantly he had a big, soft heart and loved his friends and family fiercely. He loved to hang out with his friends and family whenever the opportunity arose and was never afraid of taking a joke too far (as many of us can attest to).

When asked what he thought about his untimely demise, he said, "It's been a good run," and I can agree with the sentiment. Much too short but good. Brady, you filled my life with love, humor, adventure, and friendship.  I have always loved you and I miss you already. We miss you already (yes even Motley).

He is survived by his wife Ashley Durham of Ada, OK. His father Brady Durham and wife Donna Durham of Livingston, KY and his mother Patricia Hensley Jones of London, KY. His brother Steven Denny Jr. and wife Kayla Denny of San Antonio, TX and his sister Alisha Beaudin of Corbin, KY. He is preceded by his maternal grandparents Ernest and Marie Hensley, his paternal grandparents Conley and Naomi Durham, and step-brother Walter Sniff.

The family request those who wish may make memorials to PAWS in Ada, 1200 Sandy Creek Drive, Ada, OK 74820 in his honor or to the Ada Sunrise Rotary.
