Bobby "Bob" Lee Tyler, 86; long-time resident of Ada, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2021 in Blanchard OK.

Bob is survived by son Karl Tyler of Blanchard, son John Tyler of Cypress TX, daughter Belinda Engel of Ada, twelve Grandchildren and nine great Grandchildren. Survivors also include brother Roy Tyler of Stratford, sister Agnes Williams of Seminole, sister Patricia Goins of Eagle ID, and sister Gini Story of Clinton TN. He was preceded in death by wife Eloise "Sue", son Kenneth, four brothers and one sister.

Bob was born in Eric, OK on March 27, 1935 to John "Wesley" and Dorfie Smith-Tyler where he grew up in small towns between OK, AZ and CA. Bob and wife Sue fell in love and married in Casa Grande, AZ on December 30, 1955 where the birth of their 4 children soon followed. In 1962 they moved the family to Saratoga, CA where Bob worked in the commercial construction industry. In 1970 they moved the family to Oklahoma where they lived for the remainder of their lives. Bob was involved in the construction and maintenance of many homes and commercial buildings throughout Oklahoma and Texas and will be remembered for his hard work ethic and his love for family and friends.

Bob was a Christian and devoted husband of 65 years. He would do anything to help his children, grandchildren, family and friends. By the men that worked with him, he will be remembered as "Bob the Builder", the hand that can work circles around men half his age. By is family and friends, he will forever be remembered for his sparkling eyes, amazing smile, his playfulness, his stories and his wonderful sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by so, so many.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 16 from 5-7 PM at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.

Memorial Services and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, September 19 from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Engel Lake Home in Ada.  All that love Bob are welcome to attend.
