Bobby Lee Stuart

Services for Bobby Lee Stuart, 83, of Mesquite, TX are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Golden and Rev. James Miller will officiate. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Stuart passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at an Ada assisted living center. He was born July 12, 1936 at Nacogdoches, TX to Warren Leander and Faye Dean Corley Stuart. Bobby attended Central Heights Grade School and High School in Nacogdoches, TX.

He married Mamie Louise Burnes March 25, 1956 at Dallas. She preceded him in death September 11, 2009. Mr. Stuart was a union iron worker until his retirement and a member of Cass Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Bridgett Armbrust and her husband Tim of Garland, TX; two grandchildren, Autumn Steffee and husband David, and Tyler Brown and wife Aja, all of Sunnyville, TX; six great-grandchildren, Grayson Brown, Jade Brown, Lindley Steffee, Lakelyn Steffee, Finley Brown and Peyton Brown; a special niece and caregiver, Cindy Choate of Ada; and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a son, Douglas Leander Stuart.

Bearers are Grayson Brown, Tyler Brown, David Steffee, Tim Armbrust, Kenny Choate, Randy Choate and Mark Choate.
