Bobby Smith

Graveside services for Bobby Leon Smith, 81, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at

Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc, Oklahoma. His nephew, James Smith will officiate.

Mr. Smith passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his home. He was born April

5, 1937 at Purcell to Randolph and Winnie Flippo Smith. He graduated from

Maysville High School.

He married Francis Fay Childress July 26, 1957 at Maysville. Mr. Smith was a meat

cutter and meat supervisor for Dicus Supermarket and later he owned and

operated Sulphur Meat and Deli for 16 years.

Survivors include his wife, Fay, of the home; son, Terry Leon Smith and Maya

Walker of Vail, CO; daughter, Sunnie Dawn Smith and Samuel Baker of Ada; a

granddaughter, Sophia Lynn Baker; sister, Eloise Foster of Shawnee; and two

brothers, RueDel Smith of Booneville, AR and Darrell Smith, Portland, OR.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Smith; his

brothers, Guy Smith, Raymond Smith, Johnnie Smith, Ralph Randolph Smith,

Orville Gene Smith and Larry James Smith; and three sisters, Catherine Owens,

Billie Gullion and Pearl Aileen Knolls.
