Bobby Nester

No services are planned at this time for Bobby Joe Nester, 79, of Ada. The family is receiving friends and relatives from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Nester passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his home. He was born April 20, 1938 at Elkhart, Kansas to Fred and Ruth Kyle Nester. He attended Laverne, OK schools and moved to this are about 1971 from Logan, OK.

He retired from Sun Oil Company as an Engineer Technician.

Survivors include a son, Greg Nester of New Boston, TX; a sister, Norma Rolf of Laverne; three grandchildren, Dillon Phillips, Abby Vick and Dawson Vick, all of Ada; and a great-grandson, Kingston Phillips of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janet; a daughter, Carla Vick; brother, Fred Nester, Jr.; and two sisters, Edith Busby and Neva Ash.
