STONEWALL-Services for Bobby Gene Lee, 71, Stonewall, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Mark Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Coal County.
Mr. Lee died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born October 27, 1937 at Clarita, Oklahoma to William Coleman and Ella Mae Barnett Lee. He attended school at Tupelo and graduated from Tupelo High School. He moved to Stonewall from Tupelo.
He married Wanda Jane Ward on November 8, 1958 at Gaar Corner, Oklahoma. Mr. Lee was a cabinetmaker, a carpenter at Valley View Regional Hospital for 36 years and also a rancher. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jane Lee, of the home; a son, Michael Gene Lee, Tupelo; a daughter, Teresa Renee Watts, Stonewall; four grandsons, Christopher Lee, William Watts, Ramey Reamey, and Steven Watts; one great granddaughter, Lilly Lee; a brother, Bill Lee, Oklahoma City; and three brothers-in-law, Keith Thompson, McAlester, Herman Ward, Alameda, CA, and Charles Robert, Ada.
Bearers will be Glen James, Billy Westmoreland, J. O. Thetford, Danny McNutt, Sam McAnally, and Bobby Bratcher.
