Bobby Jones

Services for Bobby Gene Jones, 70, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Revs. Jerry Wells and Brad Graves will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Jones passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born January 4, 1947 at Mulberry, AR to Bobbie Houston and Mary Imogene Jones.

He married Judy Kay Bates February 23, 1979 in Durant. Mr. Jones was self-employed Heat and Air Specialist owning Bob's Appliance. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served in the U. S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Kay, of the home; his children, Tracy Bonneau, Theresa Jones, Scott Jones and wife Amber, David Jones, Thelma Dorsett and husband Larry, Gaylen Pelts and wife Michelle, Kelly Cox and husband Troy and Anthony Pelts and wife Betty; four brothers, Larry Jones and wife Linda, Mark Jones and wife Phyllis, David Jones and wife Sharon and Danny Osburne and wife Patty; two sisters, Shelia Trammel and husband Joey and Debra Cheatham and husband Larry; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Gurney Ball; and a brother, Dennis Ray Osburne.
