WHARTON, TEXAS-Memorial services for Bobby Ray Hobson, Jr., 60, of Wharton, Texas, formerly of Ada are 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hobson died Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was born October 20, 1954 in San Marcos, Texas to Bobby Ray Hobson and Willene Frances Smith Hobson. He and his family moved to Ada in 1956 and he attended Willard grade school. He graduated from Ada High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from East Central University.
He married Leann Cain October 8, 1982 in Oklahoma City. Mr. Hobson was an Oil and Gas Landman from 1981 – 2015 with R.D. Davis and Associates since 2004, and he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Leann Cain-Hobson, of the home; two daughters, Whitney Raquel Winslow and her husband Andrew and Bayli-Jayne Hobson; a son, Brent Ryan Hobson; his parents, Bob and Willene Hobson; one grandson, Lincoln Cain-Winslow; and a sister, Teresa Mayhue and her family of Ada.
