BOBBY ADAMS
ADA-Memorial services for Bobby Joe Adams, 58, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Kenneth Elkins will officiate.
Mr. Adams died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born July 7, 1949 at Ada, Oklahoma to Billy Joe and Ada Mae Sutton Adams. He lived in the Ada area all his life and attended Vanoss schools.
He married Sandy Wilcox Collins on June 27, 1978. Mr. Adams was employed with Enogex in Konawa until his retirement. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Adams, of the home; two sons, Donnie Collins, Ada, and Kyle Williams and wife Kristie, Texas; two daughters, Sherry Adams, Ada, and Linda Stevens and friend, Brian Bennett, Ada; six grandchildren, Tanner Lowry, Ada, Tyler Lowry, Ada, Autumn Lavielle, Ada, Reigan Lavielle, Ada, Grant Williams, Texas, and Nicole Williams, Texas; three sisters, Joni Joyner, Sand Springs, Pam Fowler, Sasakwa, and Debra Jo, Norman; and two brothers, Joe Adams, and wife Misty, Sasakwa, and Jimmy Coots and wife Tracy, Norman; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Collins in 1986, his father, Billy Joe Adams and his mother, Ada Mae Coots, and a sister, Rhonda Isaacs; and his grandmother who reared him, Sybil Collins.
Honorary bearers will be Donnie Collins, Joel Adams, Tanner Lowry, Tyler Lowry, Rick Lavielle, and Autumn Lavielle.
