BOBBIE TURNER

ADA-Services for Bobbie J. Turner, 83, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Don Sayre and Dr. Rusty Fuller will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Turner died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at her home. She was born July 7, 1926 at Owl Creek, Oklahoma to Jasper N. and Winnie Wesson Turner. She attended Union Valley School and graduated from Stonewall High School.

She married Gene Morris in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Bill Turner in 1991. Mrs. Turner was a monitor technician at Valley View Regional Hospital from 1977 until retiring in 1991. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Turner, of the home; three daughters, Winifred Watson and husband Paul, Ada, Monte Custer and husband Bob, Rockport, TX, and Michael Ann Morningstar and husband David, Indiana; one son, Hoyt Morris and wife Ann Hassenfratz, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Lori Lundgaard, Beaufort, SC, Marni Money, Mesa, AZ, Tack Harrell, Houston, TX, and Joe Davis, Indiana; and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Teters.

Bearers will be Pete Presley, Corky Wilson, Ken Roberts, J. R. Johnson, Jerry Bailey and Don Sayre. Honorary bearers are Sr. Men's Bible Fellowship Class.
