Private family graveside services will be held for Bobbie Wayne Stroud, 88, of Ada. A visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Stroud passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born April 10, 1932 in Ada, OK to Frank E. and Thelma Corvin Stroud. He attended grade school in California and graduated from Ada High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from East Central University.

He married Mary Joyce Choate Stroud. February 5, 1954 in Ada. She preceded him in death March 2, 2015. Mr. Stroud was a Postal Clerk for the U. S. Postal Service until his retirement and he also owned and operated an upholstery shop. He attended the Nazarene Church and later the Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Stroud served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherree Harris-Nelson and her husband Robert, Yukon; son, Terry Stroud and wife Denise, Jenks; his grandchildren, Blake Sockwell and wife Candy, Yukon, Ashlee England and husband Dustin, Edmond, Adam Stroud and Sarah Johnson, Stillwater, Daniel Stroud and wife Allison, Harlem, NY; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Welch, Kylee England and Kingston England, Bridger Stroud,

And Josiah Stroud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and two brothers, Billie Stroud and Rayford Stroud.
