Bobbie Rutherford

Bobbie Dean Rutherford, age 79, of Stonewall, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born on August 28, 1945, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Alvin Green and Bernadine Etta McLaughlin Hunter.

Bobbie graduated with a Master of Education degree and dedicated her life to teaching and inspiring others. She was married to Ted Rutherford on August 15, 1964, and together they built a loving family and home. Bobbie's devotion to her family, her students, and her community will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ted Rutherford, of the home; and her daughter, Amy Rutherford, of Elverta, California. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents.
