BOB MOORE

OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Jess Robert "Bob" Moore, 68, Oklahoma City, formerly of Allen, are 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Criswell Chapel. Burial follows at the Allen Cemetery.

Mr. Moore died on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born July 19, 1941, in Allen to Jess and Lorene Estes Moore. He attended Allen schools and graduated from Allen High School in 1960. He started his career in Holdenville, Oklahoma, owned and operated Bob Moore and Company Hair Salon in Oklahoma City. He was a renowned cosmetologist, winning awards on the state and national level, representing Oklahoma on the national level, winning the National Cosmetology Award in the 1980's and the 1990's. Mr. Moore had served in the Allen National Guard 145th Infantry Division and was a 32? Mason and member of Holdenville Lodge #123 AF & AM. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Holdenville.

Survivors include a son, Robby Moore, Ada; a daughter, Lori Stephens, Atoka; grandson, Matthew Moore; granddaughter, Laynie Thomas; brother, Mike Moore, Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sisters, Paula Pilant and husband Sammy, Winnie, Texas; and Debbie Rinehart and husband Stormy, Allen; nephews, Stephen Pilant, Jesse Rinehart and Jason Cagle; niece, Michaela Moore; and aunt, Gerlene Milner and husband Bill, Ada.

Bearers are Jason Cagle, Bruce Milner, Daniel Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs, Matthew Moore, Sean Taylor and Jesse Rinehart.
