Bob Langley

Services for Bobby "Bob" Lee Langley, 85, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Langley passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at an assisted living center. He was born May 29, 1934 at Stonewall to Robert Lee and Mary Ellen Fender Langley. He graduated from Stonewall High School and received a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from East Central University.

He married Barbara June Minor December 21, 1952 in Stonewall. Mr. Langley was a Math Teacher and Principal at Stonewall Public Schools until his retirement. He was a longtime active member and Deacon of the Stonewall First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; two daughters, LaVonda Jones of Ada and Rae Nell Simpson and husband Danny of Montgomery, TX; four grandchildren, LeaAnn Spain and husband Bill, Ada, Jayme Thompson and wife Sabrina of Germany, Josh Thompson, Redding, CA and Abby Simpson, Austin, TX; five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Clayton and Carter Spain and Mason and Sarah Thompson; a great-great granddaughter, Kambri Spain; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, GaeVon Jelosek.

Bearers will be Christopher Spain, Clayton Spain, Carter Spain, Ronnie Mackey, Charles Henry and Keith Teel. Honorary bearers are Wayne Biggs, Mark Walls, Charles Phillips, Jerry Blevins and Hal Sliger.
