Bob G. Byrd

Memorial services for Bobby Guynn Byrd, 78, of Roff are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church, Revs. Steve Wilburn and George Brock will officiate.

Mr. Byrd passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 1, 1939 at Stonewall to Coy and Dovie Cradduck Byrd. He attended Stonewall schools and graduated from Stonewall High School in 1957.

He married Connie Fell Stahl February 1982. Mr. Byrd was a rancher and had been a rodeo clown and bullfighter for 30 years. He was also a welder, fabricating metal buildings. Bob was an active member of the Fitzhugh Baptist Church and a board member of the George Brock Roundup for Jesus organization.

Survivors include his wife, Connie, of the home; three sons, Todd Byrd of Roff, Marty Byrd and wife Cindy of Ada and Justin Byrd and wife Amy of Roff; a sister, Geneva Scott of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Brittney Oguin, Kylie Byrd, Justine Byrd and Jacques Byrd; and his two great-grandchildren, Cadence Wade and Casen Oguin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Shelly Byrd; and two sisters, Melba Crowley and Merta Byrd.
