BILLY WALKER
ADA-Graveside services for Billy Murray Walker, 79, Ada, are 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will perform military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Walker died on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born October 25, 1931, in Oklahoma City to Raymond C. and Florence Mooney Walker. He was reared in the Roff and Hickory areas, attended school in Roff and graduated from Yuma Union High School in Yuma, Arizona. He moved back to Ada 3 years ago from Tulsa. He worked as a service technician for Unit Rig Equipment Company, a mining equipment company. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea, serving in the 3rd Division.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons, Tandy Walker, New Mexico; and Walter Walker, Tulsa; a daughter, Wendy Davis, Mannford, Oklahoma; a brother, J. C. Walker, Hemet, California; two sisters, June Lang, Sacramento, California; Patricia Kohl, El Cajon, California; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
