Celebration of Life services for Mr. Billy Ray Phillips, 74, of Ada are Friday, December 3, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.  Pastor Darrell Phillips will officiate.

Mr. Phillips passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at an Oklahoma City hospital.  He was born July 21, 1947, in Alderson, OK, to William (Bill) and Anne Wolfe Phillips.

Mr. Phillips married Saretta Ann Keeling in 1988 and continued to build a legacy of love and kindness as husband, father, foster father, grandfather, and teacher.  Mr. Phillips was a proud American Veteran and Native American.

Mr. Phillips served the Ada Public Schools for the past 16 years as a Para Professional to special needs students at Willard Elementary and previous years substitute teaching.  He loved his "Willard" purpose and family- especially his students- and they loved him.

Survivors are his wife, Saretta, of the home; one son, Kevin Lewis and wife Michelle, of Ada; two daughters, Jami Knighten and husband Randy, of Ada and Jazzmin Phillips, of the home; one brother, Darrell Phillips, of Wewoka; and bonus daughters, Rhonda Cupps and husband Roger, Presleigh Fielder and Amielia Smith, all of Ada; one sister-in law Teresa Schrag and husband Glenn; grandchildren Lauren Mathis and husband Levi, Dalton Lewis and wife Torri, Haley Knighten, Baylee Johnson and husband C.J., Jennifer Velasco and husband Emmanuel, Casey Knighten, Nikki Knighten, Destanye Knighten, Leland Knighten, Adriana Knighten, Josie Knighten and Breanna Knighten;  great grandchildren, Konner, Selah, Jamin, Jordan, Rosie, Kyzer, Kynzer, Millie, Mythias, Selene and Amberlyn; and a multitude of other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
