BILL PERRY

ADA-Services for Billy Joe Perry, 81, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born September 20, 1927 at Centrahoma, Oklahoma to Jake and Cora Anderson Perry. He attended school in Centrahoma and Tupelo. He moved to California in 1942 and drove a truck until returning to Ada in 1962.

He married Shirley Ann Stilwell on August 4, 1962 at Ada. Mr. Perry drove a truck and dispatched trucks for Chemical Express and H R Hill Trucking until his retirement in 1991. After retirement, he worked part time for Holt Mini Storage until 2005. Mr. Perry was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Perry, of the home; seven daughters, Rita Wiggins and husband David, Madera, CA, Nita Ward and husband Bill, Oxford, KS, Shelby Harden and husband Kevin, Templeton, CA, Pattie Mitchell and husband Eddie, Ada, Connie Miksits and husband Sieg, Allen, TX, Kimberly Shields and husband Russell, Kiowa, and Shawn Perry, Oklahoma City; one son, SFC Michale Perry and wife LeAndra, Fort Bragg, NC; three sisters, Emma Humphries, Flagstaff, AZ, Pat Stilwell and husband Harvey, Ada, and Jewel Struble, Ada; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Forrest Perry.

Bearers will be Michale Perry, Tim Wilson, Chris Hayes, Boog Barton, Bo Estes, and Donnie Gee.
