Services for Billy W. Flowers, 88, of Union Valley are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Union Valley Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Flowers died Monday, September 28, 2026, at his home. He was born July 10, 1938, in Union Valley to Willie J. and Erthel Stephens Flowers.

He married Dorothy Tipton on January 20, 1967. Mr. Flowers served in the U.S. Army from 1961 until 1963. He later retired from Pontotoc County District 1 as a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of the home; son, Troy Flowers and wife Kristy of Beaver, OK; sister, Rosetta Miller, of Oil Center; three grandchildren, Seth Flowers, Zeb Flowers and Zane Flowers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Lois Boyd, Sylvia Bunch and Geneva Oliver; and seven brothers, Jim Flowers, Fagan Flowers, Harry Flowers, Dick Flowers, T. J. Davis, Kenneth Davis, and Julius Flowers.

Bearers will be Seth Flowers, Zeb Flowers, Zane Flowers, Adam Horton, Rick Bliss and Harley Bliss. Honorary Bearers will be Chad Sliger, Bill McCollum, Don Jackson, Leroy Daniel, John Flowers and Victor Bolin.
