BILLY BRANTON
CALVIN-No services are planned at this time for Billy Joe Branton, 74, of Calvin, Oklahoma. Mr. Branton died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at his home. He was born July 3, 1934 in Cartersville, Georgia to Joe Ben and Mattie Lois Branton. He moved to this area in 1989 from Seattle, Washington.
He worked as a printer in his younger years and later as an electrical engineer at Group Health in Seattle, Washington. He married Mary Louise Tumlin on May 27, 1967.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise and stepson, Larry Richards, Florida; stepdaughters, Linda Grice, Tennessee and Peggy Lawler, Florida; daughters, Darlene McMicken, Sharon Kelly and Karen Atkins, all of Georgia; a sister, Helen Alexander, Georgia; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Victory Hospice, 1300 W. Liberty Road, Atoka, OK 74525.
