BILL MOORE

ADA-Services for Billy Richard "Bill" Moore, 64, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Robert Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.

Mr. Moore died Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Ada. He was born April 9, 1944 at Helena, Arkansas to Elmer Wesley and Estelle Whatley Moore. He attended Barton Elementary in Arkansas and Mexia High School in Mexia, Texas. He moved to this area in February, 2008 from Waco, Texas.

He married Mary Ann Higdon on December 19, 1980 at Hugo, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore was a maintenance repairman for many years at Lochridge-Priest Heating and Air Conditioning in Waco, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Navy as a Machinist's Mate on the USS Helena.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Moore, of the home; three sons, Jamie Ray Higdon, Ada, Billy Richard Moore Jr., Mexia, TX, and Scotty Moore and wife; one daughter, Lisa Woodall and husband Ty, Grosebeck, Texas; two granddaughters, Hailey Ann Thomas Higdon, Ada, and Jamie Ranae Moore, Mexia, TX; and a great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers will be Jamie Higdon, Dustin Griffis, Johnny Has, Leslie Gregory, Mikell Harbin, and John Lee Higdon.
