Billie Phillips
ADA-Services for Billie Ellen Martin Phillips, 87, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Ada Church of the Nazarene, Rev. Jim Knight will officiate. Burial will follow at the Konawa Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was born May 2, 1928 in Amity, Arkansas to Robert Franklin and Mary Ellen Lambert Martin.
She married Kenneth Raymond Phillips August 4, 1947 at Hot Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death March, 1975 in Ada. She and her family moved to Ada January 1963 from Ft. Bragg, NC. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and a member of the Ada Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Keith, Ada; two sons, Phil Phillips and wife, Dee Van Lehn, Oklahoma City and Robert Phillips and wife Jamie, Union Valley; her grandchildren, Deb Shropshire and husband Shawn, Jon Keith and wife Kathy, Jennifer Balliett and husband Matt, Erek Withee and wife Paun, Emmery Withee and wife Holly, Angela Clark and husband Shannon and Dillon Phillips and Erin; a brother, Charlie Martin and wife Suzanne, Hot Springs, AR; brother-in-law, Elmo Phillips, Konawa; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Dillon Phillips, Jon Keith, Shannon Clark, Shawn Shropshire, Erek Withee and Emmery Withee.
