BILLIE McNAIR
ADA-Graveside services for Billie McNair, 89, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate.
Mrs. McNair died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at a local nursing home. She was born March 17, 1918, in Center, Oklahoma to Nomie and Stella Ralston Garrett. She attended Parish Chapel grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School in 1936. Billie worked in the office of Dr. Padberg for many years and later was part owner with Gene Pherigo of the Ada Typewriter and Supply. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ada for many years.
She was married to Willie McNair. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1968.
Survivors include cousins, Marie Golden, Helen Fike, Carol Franklin and husband Bob, Pug Garrett and wife Thelma Jean, and Nadine Owens and husband Buck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and many family members, as well as her close friend, Gene Pherigo.
The family would like to thank Ada Retirement and Care Center and McCortney Hospice.
