Billie Barnes

Services for Billie Jo Barnes, 97, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 ^th at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. David Gray and Don Sayre will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. Billie was born September 4, 1921. She was raised and lived in the Ada/Allen area her entire life. Billie had been a seamstress at Black's Men's Wear in Ada.

The daughter of Oren Dewey Phillips and Nancy Jane (Gray) Phillips, she was a member Trinity Baptist Church and lived at Ada Baptist Village.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Janie Phillips; sister, Jewel Collins; and daughter, Pat Luper.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Jo Koehler and son-in-law, Bill Koehler of Agoura Hills, CA; granddaughter, Amanda Koehler Williams and her husband Dave Williams; always faithful and caring grandson, Kevin Luper and wife, Lela Luper; great-grandson, Jakob Luper of Ada; and many other family members.

Bearers will be Gary Wayne Hamilton, Bill Koehler, Dave Williams, Kevin Luper, Jakob Luper and Chris Feiler.
