BILL KISER
PONTOTOC-Graveside services for Bill Kiser, 84, Pontotoc, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pontotoc Cemetery, the Rev. Scott Barnes officiating.
Mr. Kiser was born March 20, 1926, to Joe and Ottie Weems Kiser at Pontotoc. He died Friday, May 14, 2010, at his home. Mr. Kiser graduated from Pontotoc High School and was retired from the highway department with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He and Bobby Gover were married Oct. 12, 1946.
Survivors include his wife, Bobby, of the home; two sons, Frank Kiser and wife Susie, Ada, and Tooter Kiser and wife Sissy, Sulphur; one daughter, Susie Howell, Owasso; one sister, Mary Love Short and husband Buck, Pontotoc; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kiser; two sisters, Joe Dene Stanford and Lajuana Clark; and a granddaughter, Sandy Williams.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Pontotoc Cemetery Fund, HC64 Box 192, Pontotoc, OK 74820.
