Memorial services for Billy Dean Johnson, 84, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross will officiate.

Mr. Johnson passed away Tuesday, July 11 ,2023 in Ada.  He was born October 12, 1938 in Gerty, OK to Lewis Landom and Clara Rail Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a coach and administrator at Gerty, Latta and Ada Schools until his retirement in 2000 from Latta Public Schools.

He is survived by his two sons, Mike Johnson and wife Debbie, of Ada and Jay Johnson and wife Shelly, of Kingston; one brother, Jerry Johnson and wife Pauline, of Lindale, TX; four grandchildren, Christian Johnson and wife Abby, Scott Johnson and wife Missy, Kendal Johnson and Caden Johnson; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda Johnson; and brother, Gene Johnson.

Honorary bearers are Rickey Eaton, Phil Shivers, Zane Bowman, Eldon Flinn, Roy Hinkle, Roger Cosby, Shelby Morgan, Phil Johnson, Frank Starns and Delton Tollett.
