Visitation for Caryl William "Bill" Hart, 94 of Ada, will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Criswell Funeral Home. A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2025. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Honorary bearers will be Jake Rein, Reggie Darbison, Jeff Butler, Easton Healey and Haden Healey.

Mr. Hart passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025. He was born October 26, 1930 in Ada, OK to Caryl Maloy Hart and Isabella Clelland Hart.

After graduating from Latta High School, Bill began working for Southwestern Bell before enlisting in the United States Navy on January 5, 1951. He proudly served during the Korean War until his honorable discharge on January 4, 1955. For his service, he was awarded the Korean Service Medal with two bronze service stars, the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the Naval Occupation Service Medal.

On September 30, 1956, Bill married the love of his life, June Aylor. They were married for 57 years before her passing on September 2, 2013. Together, they raised three children and were devoted members of the Southwest Church of Christ.

Bill returned to Southwestern Bell after his military service and spent many years there before retiring. In retirement, he discovered a passion for woodturning. He and June traveled to many shows together, where his artistry earned recognition and awards.

He is survived by his children: Terry Hart and wife Bethel of Freeland, Washington; Janet and husband Brian Healey of Davis, OK; and Jo Ann Mickle and husband Sean of Midwest City, OK. Bill's greatest joy was his family, including six grandchildren – Emily Hart and her late husband Tyler Mestas, Easton and wife Stacey Healey, Haden and wife Tia Healey, Erin Healey, Kara Mickle, and Meghan Mickle – and five great-grandchildren, Harper, Hud, Haize, Townes and Hatton Healey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife June; his sister, Bettye Jean Ponder; and his grandson-in-law, Tyler Mestas.

Bill will be remembered for his faith, dedication to family, service to his country, and the craftsmanship and creativity he poured into his woodturning. His life and love continue in the generations he leaves behind.
