Bill Baker, Jr.

Memorial services for Bill Baker, Jr., 87, of Ada are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Central Church of Christ in Ada, Bud Ross will officiate.

Mr. Baker passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home. He was born July 23, 1931 at Fullbright, TX to John William "Bill" and Lela E. Lawler Baker. He graduated from Texas A & M University in Austin, TX.

He married Dorothy Ray Huddleston February 22, 1968. She preceded him in death April 9, 2016. Mr. Baker was the owner and operator of Moon-Baker Insurance Agency. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the Kiwanis Club of Ada, a member of AA and the Ada Elks Lodge #1640. Mr. Baker served in the U. S. Air Force.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelly L. Bateman of Ada and Jerri Rae Mariash and husband Stephen of St. Joseph, MN; three grandchildren, Beth Vinson of Ada, Cameron Chaffee and wife Alexandra of Cold Springs, MN and Corbin Chaffee and wife Liz of Arvada, CO; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe Donaghey of Norman, Drake Vinson of Ada and Ruby Chaffee of Cold Springs, MN.
