JEANNE BELLE DENTON

ADA-Services for Jeanne Belle Denton, 79, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate.

Mrs. Denton died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 29, 1934 in Ada, Oklahoma to Gene and Annabell Neal Acker. She graduated from Ada High School and attended William Woods College, where she was selected for "Who's Who in Amercian Colleges".

She married E. Q. Denton. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2012 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Mrs. Denton was an artist and an avid horse lover.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Denton of Dallas, TX, and Andrew Denton and wife Sandra of Shawnee; a grandson, Tripp Denton of Alabama; twin brothers, Bernie Acker and wife Kay of Castle Rock, CO, and Charles Acker and wife Lila of Ada; and her nephew and nieces, Steve Acker, Leslie Smith, Lee Ann Bayer and Kim Hext.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimer's Research, 825 NE 13 ^th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104-5097.
