Betty Jean Makintubbee
OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Betty Jean Makintubbee (Norman) 73, of Oklahoma City, formerly of the Connerville area are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Mary Lee Clark Memorial United Methodist Church, 1100 Howard Drive, Del City, OK. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Seeley-Blue Cemetery near Connerville.
Mrs. Makintubbee passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at a hospice in Midwest City. She was born April 7, 1943 in Talihina to Douglas and Cora Greenwood Makintubbee.
She married Ben E. Norman August 10, 1963 in Ada. He preceded her in death March 24, 1994 in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Makintubbee moved to the Ada area in the mid 1960's from Connerville. She later moved to Oklahoma City and was employed with the Oklahoma City Public Schools in the school cafeteria.
Survivors include three sons, Keith Norman and wife Patty, Kendall Norman and wife Kristy and Kevin Norman; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Long and Kendra Mariakis; a grandson, Ryan Norman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bearers will be Tony Norman, Randall Counts, Jerry Frazier, Dewayne Frazier, Gilbert Harjo and James Gibson.
