ADA-Services for Horace John Looney, 85, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Looney died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at a Sulphur hospital. He was born November 4, 1922 at Lovelady, Oklahoma to Lee Marlton and Lula Goldie Goss Looney. He moved to this area in August 2004.
He married Rosemarie Patoc on October 12, 1983. Mr. Looney was a Truck Driver for Rhodes and Jamison Trucking.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie Looney, of the home; two daughters, Pearleta Sue Looney, Comanche, Oklahoma, and Lois Raye Puckett, Kelseyville, California; four sons, Horace John Looney, Jr., Byron, California, Kenneth Lee Looney, Manteca, California, Earl Glenn Looney, Manteca, California, and Donald Eugene Looney, Comanche, Oklahoma; a sister, Lula Mae Ring, Byng, Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Elton Lee Looney and James Morgan Looney, an infant brother, Little Junior Looney, and a sister, Idanell Evans.
