Betty Gerth

Services for Betty June Gerth, 93, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Southwest Church of Christ; Mr. Brian Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gerth passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, in Ada. She was born June 10, 1933, in Asher to Jesse and Ruth Thompson Bettis.

On July 29, 1954, she married Elmer Gerth. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2020. She was a Note Teller at Oklahoma State Bank until her retirement. Mrs. Gerth was a faithful member of the Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Cary Gerth and wife, Judy; daughters, Sharon Estes and husband, Scott, and Joni Vass and husband, Tommy; six grandchildren, Jessica Rosalez and husband, Roman, Creston Gerth and wife, Jessica, Sarah Stewart and husband, Scott, Caleb Estes and wife, Randi, Trevin Vass and wife, Anna, and Taran Williams and husband, Jake; and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Gerth; parents, Jesse and Ruth Bettis; great granddaughter, Emma Stewart; two brothers, Monroe Bettis and Hershel Bettis; and one sister, Hazel Jamar.

Bearers are Creston Gerth, Caleb Estes, Trevin Vass, Roman Rosalez, Scott Stewart, and Jake Williams. Honorary bearers are her great-grandsons.
